Level 3: Working With Data in Excel

One of the main uses of Excel is that of processing and displaying data. In this highly interactive module, you'll trace the journey of data from beginning to end, from controlling the quality of data as it enters Excel, manipulating and tidying data within the software, and displaying it in the most effective way for different data types and uses.

During the course, you'll understand how to reduce the time spent tidying data by limiting data entry options, how to use formulas to re-format text and numerical data, and how to present data through charts and pivot tables. You'll also learn how to save time in repetitive data tasks by using macros to automate actions. Building on your knowledge of VLOOKUPs and IF statements, you'll learn how to take control of your data to increase your efficiency and gain enhanced insights into the stories that data provides.
